Terms of Service

Welcome to Finding Eve. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Finding Eve mobile application, website and related services (the "Service"), operated by Finding Eve ("we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information, and our Safety page explains how to stay safe.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Finding Eve. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement, have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, are not barred by law from using the Service, and have not previously been banned from it. You may have only one account.

2. Your Account

You agree to give accurate information, including your real age, and to use only photos and videos of yourself. Keep your sign-in method secure: you are responsible for activity on your account. Contact us straight away if you think someone else has accessed it.

3. User Conduct

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You agree to use the Service respectfully and lawfully. You must not:

• harass, bully, threaten, stalk or intimidate anyone, or post hate speech;
• post nudity or sexual content, or any content that sexualizes or endangers minors;
• impersonate anyone, use someone else's photos, or misrepresent your age, identity or intentions;
• ask other members for money, gifts, cryptocurrency or financial information, or try to scam them;
• advertise, sell, recruit or send spam;
• share another person's private information or intimate images without their permission;
• use the Service for anything illegal;
• create an account after being banned, get around a restriction, or interfere with our safety, moderation or security systems;
• use bots, scrapers or other automated means to access the Service, other than features we provide such as bot dating; or
• file false reports.

You can report or block a member from their profile, from your chat with them, and from community posts and success stories. We review reports and act on them.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit, such as photos, videos, profile text and messages. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, display and transmit it, including through the service providers and AI providers described in our Privacy Policy, for the purpose of operating, moderating and improving the Service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we keep as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for your content and confirm that you have the right to share it.

5. AI Features

• Consent: Finding Eve uses AI for Eve, the onboarding interview, matching and compatibility insights, reply suggestions and coaching, voice features, and automated safety moderation. Before you can use onboarding, matching, messaging, uploads or AI features, we ask for your consent to send your personal information to our third-party AI providers, as explained in section 2.2 of our Privacy Policy. You can withdraw it at any time in Settings in the app or on the Account page on the website; features that depend on it, including onboarding, messaging and uploads, stop working until you agree again.
• No guarantee of accuracy: AI output can be wrong, incomplete or inappropriate. Compatibility scores, date coaching, red-flag checks and other AI insights are suggestions, not professional, legal, safety or relationship advice. Use your own judgment.
• Your messages: You are responsible for every message you send, including messages drafted with AI. Messages written with an AI suggestion may be labeled as AI-assisted to the recipient.
• Bot dating: Bot dating is optional. When you and a match both turn it on and have both agreed to AI processing, AI personas based on your profiles chat with each other in your match thread, clearly labeled as AI. You can take over or turn it off at any time.

6. Safety, Moderation and Enforcement

• Moderation: We use automated systems, including AI, and human review to moderate content. We may block or remove content, and restrict, suspend or ban accounts that break these Terms or put others at risk. Some of these measures are automatic, such as the temporary suspensions described in section 2.3 of our Privacy Policy. If your account is suspended for safety reasons, members you have exchanged messages with may be told that an account they talked to was removed for safety reasons. You can ask us for a human review of any automated decision.
• No background checks: We do not run criminal background checks on members, and we do not verify the identity of members before they join. A selfie verification badge only means that the member's photos matched their selfie when they were checked. Identity verification, where we offer it, is optional. Neither is a guarantee of who someone is or how they will behave.
• Your interactions: You are responsible for your interactions with other members, online and in person. Meet in a public place, tell a friend where you are going, never send money to someone you have met on the Service, and contact local emergency services if you are in danger.

7. Matchmaking

Finding Eve uses AI-assisted systems to evaluate compatibility and suggest matches. We do not guarantee any number of matches or any specific outcome or relationship.

8. Subscriptions and Purchases

• Premium subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play and are billed to your App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. The price, billing period and included features are shown in the app before you buy.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your store account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app or your Finding Eve account does not cancel it.
• If a free trial is offered, it becomes a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before then.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies.

9. Account Deletion and Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account & privacy in the app, or from the Account page on the website. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data. We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms, break the law, or engage in behavior that is harmful to other users or the Service. If we ban your account, you may not create another one.

10. Changes to the Service and These Terms

We may change or discontinue features of the Service. We may also update these Terms; for material changes we will notify you in the app before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
